Heatmap events arriving in an Attentive subscriber’s activity

The gap

Attentive tells you who clicked the text.
It can’t tell you what happened next.

You know an SMS drove 4,000 sessions. You don't know which product tiles those shoppers touched, where they stalled, or which part of that revenue came from the hero image versus the fourth scroll.

What you can do

Four things that were impossible before.

Segment by behavior, not just clicks

Build Attentive segments from what subscribers actually did on site: added to cart but never started checkout, started checkout in the last 7 days, added to cart three or more times this month.

Trigger journeys from real intent

Heatmap pushes on-site behavior into Attentive as custom events. Use them to start journeys, so abandonment and win-back texts fire on evidence, not assumptions.

Attribute revenue back to the message

See how much revenue Attentive-sourced traffic generated, down to the element they clicked once they landed.

Compare Attentive against every other channel

Stack Attentive traffic against paid, organic and social on revenue per session, average order value and conversion rate.
How it works

Connect once. Then build and measure.

  1. 1. Connect

One click from inside Heatmap. Secure OAuth, so there are no API keys to copy and no snippet changes.

  2. 2. Behavior flows into Attentive

Heatmap sends key on-site moments into Attentive as custom events, matched to the right subscriber, and reports Attentive-sourced traffic inside Heatmap.

  3. 3. Build and measure

Segment, trigger and attribute. New events sync to Attentive about every 15 minutes.

FAQs

Questions merchants ask.

Do I need to reinstall the Heatmap snippet?
No. If Heatmap is already running, connecting Attentive takes one click. Heatmap uses the Attentive tag already on your site to match visitors to subscribers, so nothing on your site changes.
Does this work with Attentive email as well as SMS?
Yes. Campaigns and journeys across SMS and email are both covered.
What permissions does Heatmap request?
Only what the integration uses: permission to send custom events. Nothing else.
How long until data appears?
Heatmap syncs new events to Attentive about every 15 minutes. Only visitors Heatmap can match to an Attentive subscriber are sent; anonymous visitors are not.
Can I disconnect at any time?
Yes. Disconnecting ends the connection and stops data from flowing.
Will this slow my site down?
No. The Heatmap snippet is 8kb and was split-tested against $2M+ in revenue with no measurable performance change.
